Make the most of your journey.
Please note that I do not promote, endorse, or facilitate the use of illegal substances. Psychedelics are classified as illegal in many states, including South Carolina, and their use may carry legal risks. I do not offer psychedelic therapy or administer any such substances.
My services are focused on preparation and integration of psychedelic experiences. Preparation involves helping clients set intentions, understand potential effects, and develop safety strategies. Integration involves processing and making meaning of psychedelic experiences to promote emotional health and well-being.
It is important to consult with a qualified healthcare professional regarding your mental and physical health, especially concerning substance use. If you choose to engage in any psychedelic activity, please do so responsibly and in accordance with local laws.

Supporting Your Journey with Non-Ordinary State Experiences
A New Frontier in Healing: Preparation & Integration
In recent years, the conversation around psychedelics and healing has shifted dramatically. Across our national consciousness, the profound potential of non-ordinary states of consciousness (NOSC) for trauma relief, symptom management, and deep therapeutic value is gaining much-deserved attention.
I understand that for many, traditional approaches have felt insufficient for breaking free from chronic issues like trauma, anxiety, or deep relational distress. You may be one of the many individuals or couples exploring innovative pathways for healing.
My Ethos: Safety, Legality, and Compassionate Support
Whether you are exploring these experiences through legal means (such as Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy) or are independently seeking out journeys in retreat centers or private ceremonies, I believe that every profound experience deserves professional support.
As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate, my commitment is to your safety, well-being, and ethical practice.
I Do Not Condone or Facilitate Illegal Activity: My professional ethics and legal standing are paramount. I do not provide, source, or guide with illegal substances.
I Offer a Safe, Non-Judgmental Space: I am here to meet you exactly where you are. My role is to provide a confidential, supportive container for processing whatever arises—whether those feelings are challenging, confusing, or deeply insightful.
The most transformative part of this work is not the experience itself, but what you do with it afterward. That is where my specialization in Preparation and Integration Therapy comes in.
Specializing in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)
KAP offers a legal, controlled, and deeply therapeutic pathway to non-ordinary states of consciousness.
Ketamine is a legal medicine that, when administered in a clinical setting at a low dose, can temporarily create a "window of neuroplasticity" in your brain. This can provide relief from symptoms and accelerate emotional processing in a way traditional therapy often cannot.
My Role in the KAP Journey: Telehealth Therapeutic Support
Please Note: I do not prescribe medication. My work involves collaborating with trusted medical providers who handle the legal prescribing and medical monitoring of the ketamine.
My specialized role as your MFT Associate in KAP is to provide the psychological container and support:
Preparation (Pre-Dosing Sessions): I help you collaboratively set intentions, build emotional safety, and prepare your mind and body to surrender to the experience. For couples, this ensures individual healing directly supports your relationship goals.
Dosing Session Support (Via Telehealth): For clients who have secured a legal prescription for at-home use, I can provide a safe, supportive presence virtually during the ketamine experience. I am there to monitor your emotional state and offer grounding support as you navigate the non-ordinary state. Many in-office administrations of Ketamine are done at a dosage where therapy is not possible during the journey. Some facilities use a lower dose where therapy may be possible during the session. For those working with a lower dose, it may be possible for clients to receive in person support.
Integration (Post-Dosing Sessions): This is where you process the material that surfaced. I use therapeutic modalities like Transformative Breathwork, Internal Family Systems, and mindfulness to ground the insights into new, healthier thought patterns and behaviors that stick—ensuring long-term relief from depression, trauma, and relational distress.
Psychedelic Integration: Making Meaning of Non-Ordinary Experiences
If you have chosen to engage with other expanded states of consciousness outside of my practice, it is never too late to integrate the lessons.
A profound, challenging, or mystical experience can feel disconnected from your everyday life. My role is to help you build the bridge between that deep internal wisdom and your external world.
How I Work with You to Integrate Your Journey:
Understanding the Message: I help you explore the imagery, metaphors, emotions, and memories that surfaced, translating the non-ordinary into practical, applicable wisdom.
Relational Impact: For those in relationships, I examine how the insights affect your communication, attachment patterns, and overall connection with loved ones.
Navigating Challenges: Sometimes these journeys are difficult, bringing up fear, existential dread, or unresolved trauma. I provide the stable, professional support necessary to navigate these turbulent emotions and turn them into sources of strength.
Your deep desire to heal is valid. I am here to support you through these transformative journeys with compassion, professionalism, and care.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Understanding Ketamine and Psychedelics
What is the difference between Ketamine and 'Classic' Psychedelics (Psilocybin, LSD, etc.)?
The primary difference is legality and mechanism of action. Ketamine is a legal dissociative anesthetic that acts on the glutamate system. Classic Psychedelics are currently illegal in most places and act primarily on the serotonin system. Both induce non-ordinary states, but Ketamine is uniquely rapid-acting and is legally available for clinical use today. Because traditional psychedelics act on the serotonin system, clients cannot be on SSRIs to have a full effect and to assure safety. Since Ketamine works with the glutamate system, clients can stay on their medications throughout treatment. Ketamine has show benefits for bi-polar depression, while traditional psychedelics are generally contra-indicated for persons with bi-polar or schizophrenia (due to risk of psychosis).
Is Ketamine considered a Psychedelic?
It is often referred to as a "dissociative psychedelic" or a non-classic psychedelic. While its mechanism is different from Psilocybin (mushrooms) or LSD, the experience it creates—a loosening of ego, new perspective, and emotional insight—shares many therapeutic qualities with classic psychedelic experiences.
How long do the experiences last?
The acute effects of a Ketamine dosing session are typically short, lasting around 40–90 minutes, which is one reason it is well-suited for a structured, time-limited therapeutic session. Classic Psychedelic journeys typically last much longer, often 4–8 hours.
Why is the Integration Phase so important?
The non-ordinary state creates a temporary "window of neuroplasticity"—the ability for the brain to form new connections. Without therapeutic integration, the insights gained often fade. Integration is the process of translating the profound experience into lasting, embodied changes in your daily life, behaviors, and relationships
.Do I need to have an experience to work with you?
No. Preparation is valuable for anyone considering an experience in the future. Integration is valuable for those who have had past experiences (even years ago) that still feel unresolved, confusing, or too profound to process alone.
Do you prescribe the Ketamine?
No, I do not. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate, not a medical doctor. Ketamine must be prescribed by a medical professional. I am happy to collaborate with your doctor to give you the best care.
