How I work:
I believe that therapy should be a collaborative and evolving process that can adapt to the needs of the client. We co-create the therapeutic relationship and as a client’s needs may shift, so too should the style of therapy. Some clients may benefit from a direct approach while others may need to develop a capacity for gentleness. For me, therapy is not a one-size fits all situation. I meet each client with compassion, respect, and a curiosity about how we can best meet your needs in the present and as they continue to evolve. Often this starts with establishing a foundation of safety and regulation within the body. We assess together what strengths you already possess and what is blocking you from the life you desire.
As an intuitive therapist, I often blend several therapeutic models to best serve the needs of the client. My integrative approach allows the therapy to center around your needs to give you the best care in each moment. Below are some of the models that most influence my style. Potential Focus Areas
Compassion is not a relationship between the healer and the wounded. It's a relationship between equals. Only when we know our own darkness well, can we be present with the darkness of others.
